The Don Lito follows the Macho, but it lives up to all expectation and has even more mouthfeel!
At first unexciting and super sweet, but the more it cools down the more exciting it gets! We love it as an easy espresso and of course as a filter.

Filter

Medium coarsley ground coffee: 17g
Water: 250ml
Temperature: 95 °C

First pour: Let coffee bloom with 40ml of water for 30sec
Second pour: Fill up gently wetting the entire coffee bed until 250ml

Total extraction time: 2min 45sec

Espresso

Fine ground coffee: 18g
Extraction volume for 2 espressi: 42g

Origin

With a vision of being able to develop a family project and give a
value to coffee added, Don Bernan together with his children took
the initiative to put his Micro Mill, Don Lito was created in 2018

he coffee bushes that grow on Don Lito in the Tarrazu Mountains are still young and only about 10 years old. There the coffee cherries have time to grow slowly and to develop their full aroma in the cooler nights at this altitude.
